Got tagged BOTH by and with the same tag rules. Lol, at the same time too. Anyways, here it goes.

RULES: List ten things that are interesting about your art and put it into your journal. Then choose 6 other deviants to tag so they can do this too. Put them into the journal and inform them that they've been tagged.

I. I only started drawing when I was 11 years old--just four years ago. Until now, I'm still trying my best to improve and develop my skills. I believe that "Improving could last until death. Death will grant you great results."

II. Actually, I got interested in drawing because I want to know what my "imaginary friends," who are now my main characters, look like.

III. My fist inspiration was the anime, Gensomaden Saiyuki. It was followed by Ranma 1/2, Rave, Get Backers, then finally Wallflower (only the manga). Until now, those are still my favorite.

IV. Many forms of art are very interesting to me (eg. paintings, musicals, martial arts, traditional and cultural dances, creative writing, etc). If I have time, I'm trying my best to practice painting with watercolor, poster color, and coloring with oil pastels. I usually save money to buy materials needed and to try out something new (as long as I could afford it). I'm willing to learn all kinds of stuff (including sports) as long as my body could handle it and I have an opportunity to.

V. Both of my parents encourage me to do more traditional and cultural arts than digital and technological. I find it fun though because I could take my drawings wherever I want to.

VI. Whenever I do traditional, I always keep in mind that "Traditional got no undo."

VII. I've never been in an art school before and I never had a formal or personal teacher--not once. I enjoy learning things on my own so that's why some people tell me that I'm an independent person.

VIII. Music adjusts my mood. I can draw nothing if I'm not in the mood. That's the reason why I don't like being interrupted while listening to music because my mood can just snap. Some people joke me that I have mood swings. Rock and classical music are the usual genres that I listen to because they give out vast emotions.

IX. Every time I draw at school, people would cluster around me. I find some of them annoying and irritating though because most of them speak in Chinese and Malay (I go to an international school) and I HAVE NO IDEA what they're saying. It gives me worries that they might be criticizing my works. I don't like people misjudging an incomplete work of art or those people who makes fun of one's work.

X. Random events on friends and family give me most ideas what to draw (usually on tragedy and humorous). Seriously, I find it hard to express myself through drawing. I know some artists out there know what I feel.
